Heveningham Concours

Last weekend we were delighted to be invited to show our Shell Dunlop 962-010 at the prestigious Heveningham Concours. The event attracts some of the world’s greatest classic, modern and competition cars to display on the instantly recognisable terraced gardens of Heveningham Hall.

The Shell Dunlop 962 joined the line-up of Le Mans icons including the latest Hertz Team Jota Porsche 963, Ayrton Senna raced 956, Repsol 962, Mercedes CLK LM, Porsche GT1, Mclaren F1 GTR and F40 LM.

The Repsol car is 962-163, an ex-collection car. It has recently undergone a full rebuild with the guys at Katana Ltd and has had a basic shakedown ready for the owner to have his first proper drive of the car at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The three-day event featured an all inclusive black tie dinner on the Friday night for owners and guests and a relaxed cocktail party on the Saturday night, hosted in a breath-taking setting.

Unique evening entertainment included a thrilling low altitude display by a pair of Spitfires followed an airborne dancer strapped to a balloon floating above the gardens.

There really is nowhere quite like it…
